Back Door Christian

It amazes me so much that there are many who are willing to push others in front of them and use other Christians as a shield for them. How many times does this occur when it comes to responsibility that others will back away? Or that others will try and make someone else do it. It is a situation that some want to keep their hands clean and make otehrs do the work.

It is a situation like Cain and Abel. When Cain slew Abel and God realized the situation and talked to Cain. Cain replies "am I my brother's keeper?" Cain knew what happened but instead of taking responsibility he instead pushed an excuse in front of it.

Jesus calls to us that the field is white and ready to harvest (John 4:35). The question we need to ask is: Are we ready to help with the harvest? Are we ready to do the work that we are called to do by Christ (Mark 16:15-16)?

Or instead are we going to push others in front and hide behind them? Also are we willing to make excuses. Do we think that we can make excuses to God in the end?
